Earlier on this week one of the small smurf huts at our airfield (pegasus) somehow cought on fire.
Firefighters were call to the scene but to no avail, the burning flames were too much for the smurf hut to handle.

Breathtaking pics! and very informative.
As a retired firefighter I know what that guy is thinking. Do I really want to put this thing out, it is the only thing keep me warm. I felt that way a couple of times at car fires. I cannot image what it must feel like in Antarctica.
