This is a small video taken a few days ago after a small power outage. The blackout lasted about 45 minutes. There was no damage done and power was restored in less than an hour. However, it reminded us of where we are and how fast things can change.

Wow--it is like a completely different planet there...and I can completely understand just how frightening a power outage can be under those circumstances, too. Amazing.
We had a power outage last night that lasted several hours. It was merely an inconvenience. A power outage for you guys could be fatal. I'm glad it was restored so quickly.
