It's like the sun going down...

These are a few pictures of the sunset the last couple days. I truely do love this time of the year just for the sunsets. I think they make the entire place seems like somewhere out of this world.

Just found your blog through the Blogger "Blogs of Note". What an amazing experience, and what great photos you have to capture it all! I live up in Inuvik, Northwest Territories, within the Arctic Circle, and we'll be getting 24-hr daylight soon! I had thought that the Canadian arctic is wilderness personified, but it's nothing compared to the Antarctic, I'm sure!

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. The videos of the auroras are amazing and such a wonder and blessing. It's hard to believe something so beautiful exists.

Thank you for sharing these photos and videos. It is a really valuable resource for us all. As a teacher I know this will come in handy when students are trying to get their questions answered. Hard for us to imagine otherwise.

There's nothing more to say but amazing. It is out of this world to me because it's something I'll never experience.

Thanks for sharing your photos and videos. My husband was in Antarctica during the "summer" of 1970-71 with the Seabees. He worked on some of the buildings there. Very interesting to see it again many yers later.
