Small beam of sun...

This is a small video that i took yesterday to show the small amount of sun that we are still getting before it all goes away. It's safe to say that in about 2 weeks we will have no natural lights and it will officially be 24 hours of darkness.

Cool beans! I think I mentioned in a comment a week or so ago that I was a geography teacher, so I'll try to find a way to share this with my students. Blogspots and such are filtered at school, but I'll tell them about your blog and maybe they'll visit.
See ya--

Wow, it's almost like another world. That must be an experience living out there. Kudos on the video. A day without light must be something else.

Your blog is so surreal....I teach 5th grade and we look at geography around the world, especially weather systems. What a way to share another piece of the world completely opposite from South Carolina's 82*F today=)

I'm soooo jealous! how did you get your blog on the Blogger homepage?!?! (I guess it is neat-o. It's amazing how dark it is at 4 pm where you live!)

My name's Frida the Chihuahua.

Check out my blog too. You'd be surprised what a five-month-old chihuahua writes!

Cool pics and video! I am really interested in knowing what brought you to Antartica. Are you doing government work or did you find a commune or something? I've spent some time up north and it was hard to get used to the timing differences with day and night. Good luck on your adventures.
Cleck.
