Suckers like you make me laugh when I here your safety slogan! "Safety 1st" is nothing more than a propaganda campaign made up by some corporate pencil pusher!
I ask you what ever happen to the good old days of "Danger is my Buisness" or everybodys all time favorite "Danger is my middle name"???? Where would we be today with out these fine words of wisdom?
The word danger is vanishing slowly due to this nation wide trend of safety slogans. Danger or should I say the "d-word" will be gone before you know it! Soon you will be hearing people saying, "I miss those incidents of terror as the forklift crushed another toe."
"Safety 1st" has destroyed all of the thrills and spills that we normally find in our daily work environment. Danger is quickly disappearing as the bubble wrapping of each and every work place increases!
Help the "d-word" and please do not participate in any type of safety awarness day, week, month or year. Danger was once smiled upon not to long ago but those days are no longer. "Danger 1st" pleads for your support!!!
It's pretty sad when the most DANGER-ous job in McM might turn out to be launching the weather balloons from that rusty old shack up the hill from the power plant. Us ATS people don't have safety meetings, or safety awareness days. But you can never be too careful when you're assessing cloud cover or typing up an observation, can you?
